The Women’s Federation for World Peace, Hong Kong is pleased to announce the Global Citizenship Workshop in Youth Square, Chai Wan on July 15, 2016.

We welcome students who are interested in exploring the dynamics of global citizenship to understand the connectedness of people throughout the world, while analyzing and brainstorming new solutions to global issues such as environmental protection, human rights, and cultural awareness. During this workshop, students will gain a deeper understanding of the universal humanity that is necessary to make positive impacts on society that benefit the whole. Through exploring and understanding different cultures and their access to rights, we can create solutions that are both innovate and impactful to create a more thoughtful, connected world. This workshop will teach students the importance of global citizenship while preparing them for the third annual Model United Nations in December. This workshop will inform students on how to succeed in the upcoming Model UN by teaching them to synthesize arguments and present proposals. We look forward to sharing unique perspectives and collaborating with each other to identify and resolve global issues for a more peaceful society.
