About The Women’s Federation for World Peace

In view of the era of women, in order to enhance the status of women, highlighting women's wisdom, virtue and great maternal love, the creation of the Women's Federation of World Peace, a view to combine the power of women, and establish the role of women in the realization of world peace and contribute toconstruction of the new world culture of peace and an ideal family. We believe that world peace begins at home, the grandparents should be in theenshrined ancestors of the historical roots of the parents and children to love each other and respect each other, husband wife love each other, trust each other, brothers and sisters mutual trust, mutual support, enjoyable to life, combined into is a typical model ideal family


Women's Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) was founded in April 1992 by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon in South Korea focusing on poverty eradication through worldwide service projects in the area of education, women's' self-help, agriculture, AIDS prevention, nutrition and medical aid.

WFWP International became an "NGO in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations" in 1997. This status was renewed in 2001 based on the preparation of a quadrennial report. Consultative status is granted by ECOSOC upon recommendation of the ECOSOC Committee on NGOs, which is comprised of 19 Member States.

In 1992, Women's Federation for World Peace Hong Kong was founded as a non-profit organization, regardless of race, nationality, religion or gender.

In May 2008, our activities were recognized by the Hong Kong Inland Revenue as a charitable organization.

WFWP chapters in various countries maintain service activities in accordance with the local needs and circumstances of each country.

Our Goal

As a volunteer organization of international women, we support Hong Kong charities and schools through community service while providing educational and social activities for our members:

  1. To carry out various social educational programs for the establishment of the ethics of true families;
  2. To develop friendship, harmony, cultural and social exchange, and solidarity among women of the world;
  3. To provide quality services that meet the social, human and community service needs of the diversified Hong Kong population;
  4. To promote and embrace cultural differences and diversity, and have respect for the dignity and worth of every human being.

WFWP Hong Kong is supported through donations and its membership program from a variety of sponsors. Our efforts are focused to empower women and families through the education and healing efforts for reconciliation of racial and cultural conflicts. WFWP Hong Kong Membership is granted to anyone who is a resident of Hong Kong, regardless of nationality.
